BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATIONS
Marst Africa Tours & Travel provides Customised Safaris, accommodation reservations, ground and air transportation, and other services with the support of self-regulated service providers.
For us to make any flight reservations, will require full particulars of the clients as stated in their given travel document.

When confirming a safari, it is the duty of the clients to notify Marst Africa about their preferences or special requirements on writing. These may include diet, single rooms, infants, medical specialities and any other. The company shall ensure to meet these requests where possible but not guaranteed.

All tours/safaris provided by Marst Africa Tours & Travel are subject to availability at the time of booking and not guaranteed until confirmed with payment. If at any time the client wishes to modify their reservation, Marst Africa will only adjust where practicable and possible. Should the adjustments require any additional fees or changing fees the company reserves the right to pass on the same fees to the client making the reservation.

Marst Africa reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times without prior notice should this be necessary due to weather or other reasons that are beyond its control. Please note that in the case of changes of flights, the passenger is responsible for any additional costs that become payable as a result of such changes.

ON SAFARI
Marst Africa reserves the right to change or adjust the tour/safari itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances before/after arrival of the client. All changes that have been made will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.

In the event that accommodation/ lodging is not available as stated in the Tour itinerary Marst Africa reserves the right to substitute the same with an equivalent Lodging/ accommodation.

The choice of the mode of transport to be used for the tour itinerary shall be dependant on the number of clients for a given Safari/Tour and the routes to be taken. Marst Africa ensures that vehicles will be provided in a good condition and that no liability can be accepted for any delays that are as a result of weather or poor road conditions.
Marst Africa will provide you with experienced driver/guides and shall effect efficiency and professionalism.
At no time should the client drive the company vehicles with or without the presence of the driver/guide. The driver’s decision on all matters, such as the route taken, is final.

COMPENSATION
For all packages and bookings, please note that Compensation will not be payable to passengers if Marst Africa is forced to cancel or in any way change passengers booking schedule due to force major which in this context is defined as government action or restraint, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond Marst Africa control.
LIABILITY
Marst Africa Tours & Travel will make every effort to ensure that all arrangements and services offered as part of the safari/tours are carried out as specified in the most efficient way possible. However, the company does not have direct control of the provision of services by suppliers and, whilst every supplier is chosen with the utmost care, Marst Africa does not accept liability for errors or omissions of such suppliers.

Marst Africa Tours & Travel cannot accept liability or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the company or its staff, including flight delays/cancellations, any personal illness, or force majeure such as war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist acts, border closure, acts of government or other authorities, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closures, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, extreme weather conditions, fire, technical and/or mechanical problems to transport and all similar events beyond the company’s control. We therefore advise our clients to obtain necessary insurance cover prior to travelling to their destination, in order to cover exactly the duration of their trip.

INSURANCE
Please note that individual travel insurance is not included in the tour/safari price and all medical costs and other costs involved must be paid by the client. It is therefore strongly recommended that participants take out personal insurance, especially for their active tours.

COSTS
The cost of the different tours provided by Marst Africa Tours & Travel are as per the tour/safari itinerary and these may include all-inclusive as stated in the Tour itinerary. These may include; Full Board accommodation as stated in the Tour itinerary, all park entry fees, all activities mentioned in the itinerary, ground transportation, fuel for the entire trip, etc.

Marst Africa will also indicate the exclusive cost of the tour/safari, which may comprise of any expenses that relate to the Tour Itinerary. These will include; International flights (from/to home), additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour if not mentioned in the Tour itinerary, Tips (tipping guideline US$10.00 pp per day), any Personal items (souvenirs, visa fees, etc.), Government imposed increase of taxes and/or park fees, travel insurance etc.

All costs of our services that are quoted to our clients are subject to change without prior notice and shall not be considered final until confirmed in writing to the client. Marst Africa reserves the right to adjust cost of its Services at any given time based on various reasons for example Exchange rate fluctuations or any increments in the cost of any element mentioned in the tour Itinerary.

PAYMENT
Marst Africa will require a non-refundable deposit of 30% on booking of any tour arrangements. The payment balance is due not later than 30 days prior to commencement of the tour/safari, unless agreed otherwise. Bookings made within 30 days before arrival must be paid in full at the time of confirmation. If payment is not received in accordance with the above, Marst Africa has the right to cancel the booking.
Payment can be made by VISA credit card, bank transfer or cash, before the start of the safari. Note that payments by VISA credit card attract a 3.5% service charge. Credit card transactions must be done at least two months prior to the start of your safari. The costs of international transactions (3.5% service charge in case of credit card payments) are to be fully paid by the client.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and shall be effective on the date of actual receipt by Marst Africa Tours & Travel. The below cancellation charges apply to the basic program rate:
In the event of any cancellation or reduction in numbers made, the following charges will apply.
60 days or more prior to arrival 20%
59 – 35 days 30%
34 – 20 days 50%
19 days – arrival 100%

No refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival or no-show of any of the members of the tour.

COMPLAINTS
Our main goal is to provide you with an excellent service. If you, for any reason, are not satisfied with your holiday package, we would like to hear about it. We recommend you notify us as soon as any incident occurs, as most of the problems can be resolved straight away. If the problem is not solved to the client’s satisfaction, the complaint should be reported in writing and not later than 10 days after completion of the tour. Marst Africa will accept only complaints notified in accordance with the above-described procedure. However, suggestions are very much appreciated in order to keep improving the quality of the service.
